Google made a bunch of AI-related announcements today, with the most important one being that its Bard tool now has text-to-image capabilities.

Just tell it to make an image (the prompt for the one above was “Create an image of a teacher upset from too many new central office initiatives”).

I’m adding it to THE BEST RESOURCES FOR TEACHING & LEARNING WITH AI ART GENERATION TOOLS, though I still think Padlet’s “I Can’t Draw” feature is still the best text-to-image tool to use with students.  Of course, the major reason this new Bard feature doesn’t cut it is because its blocked by most school Internet filters.
