I used to post weekly collections of my best tweets, and used Storify to bring them together.
Unfortunately, Storify went under.
Fortunately, however, Wakelet was a new tool that was able to import all of a person’s Storifys. So you can see all those previous Twitter “Best” lists here.

I don’t want to risk putting all the work into those posts again and risk losing them all.
So, instead of creating weekly “Best” lists of tweets, I’m going to use Twitter analytics to determine my most popular ones and embed them directly here in posts. That way, the only way they’d go away would be if Twitter itself went out of business.
So, here are my most popular tweets from the past thirty days or so:
I've started posting weekly survey asking students 2 rate how they're feeling, if they're having tech issues, etc . Students clearly like it, & I feel good about doing it. The "problem," tho, is if u ask, you have to respond. And there r a lot of needs out there. Sigh

I sure hope lesson planning for 100 percent virtual learning gets easier, because I needed this three day weekend to plan this week's lessons. Usually, however, my understanding is that there are only two days in each weekend.

The first two days of distance learning classes went very well. I'm confident that I will maintain a positive attitude with students & b a good teacher. I'm not that emotional of a person but, privately, I think i want to cry at the prospect of doing this for ten more months.

First day of distance learning done. District dysfunctional, but our school, its teachers and the students are great! Learning curve for everybody, but probably close to 90% attendance with good positive virtual classroom energy. Whew!

I always get a little nervous the night before the first day of class.
I think it's safe to say I'm a bit more nervous than usual as we start fulltime virtual learning.

Have been doing full time distance learning 4 2-&-half days (did it in spring, but was dif kettle of fish). Classes going great, but It seems barely sustainable 4 me & I don't have a life (no kids at home, supportive spouse, etc.). How r tchrs w/ kids at home going 2 make it?

These r my criteria 4 success this year in 100% distance learning:
*Do students come 2 my class?
*Do they learn something valuable?
* Do they feel coming 2 my class makes their lives better?
What REALISTIC suggestions should b added (only from people doing distance learning)?

Full time distance learning was better this week than last week, & last week was better than the previous first week. I hope, however, that future improvements occur in greater increments…..

We r now into 4th week of full-time distance learning & I am beginning 2 develop vague hopes that I might b able 2 do this without losing my mind or my health – maybe. Or, it could be an illusion that could fall apart any moment – my optimism has taken a battering this yr
