Charlie Bone

Charlie Bone is an online video game that is based on a series of books for younger readers.

It’s accessible to Intermediate English Language Learners, and can be played as a language-development activity even without a “Walkthrough.” Players have to register, but it’s free and easy.

I’ve placed the link on my website under Word and Video Games.

  1. The Charlie Bone series started out as recommendation I made to students who weren’t ready for the length and sometime mature issues of Harry Potter. I often suggest students who are interested in a series to check online for activities to extend the story, but I haven’t checked in on Charlie Bone for quite a while! Thank you Larry for this post and doing the searching so I can share.
