I usually just publish one of these posts each week. However, there has been a lot of ed tech news this week.
Six years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.

Here are this week’s choices:
Make Your Own Animated Movies, Frame by Frame is from The New York Times.
Comcast’s $10 internet plan opens up to all low-income and disabled Americans is from TechCrunch. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning About Schools Providing Home Computers & Internet Access To Students.
How to Use QuickCite to Create MLA 8 Citations is from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning Research & Citation Skills.
How to Embed Google Docs Into Your Blog Posts is from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Learning How To Use Google Docs/Google Drive.
Podcasting Creates an Audience for Student Storytellers is a great lesson plan. I’m adding it to The Best Resources For Teacher & Student Podcasting.
Click Meeting costs some money, but looks like it might be a decent tool to use if you are going to do a Webinar. I’d be interested in hearing from people about their experience with other sites.
Control F is an essential research technique. When doing a Google Search teach your students to hold down the Control key when they click on the links so it opens in a new tab. Then use Control F to find keywords so they can SKIM and look for CONTEXT clues!
