Interestingly enough, this was (sort of) the topic of yesterday’s #edchat: How do you get parents involved in the education of their own children?
Parents are definitely one of the legs of the three legged stool that is education. I can see how incentivizing teachers to get them involved would be beneficial.
The question is: how do you measure it? And who decides what’s “good enough?”
