“What A Crummy Weekend This Turned Out To Be!” is the tagline of today’s Zits comic strip, and its a perfect illustration of the point Nobel Winner Daniel Kahneman has made about the value of how things end.
I applied his findings to the classroom in my post, The Importance Of Good Endings, and in my book.
One can also include positive closure too, in any activity or interaction in the classroom. I like (in your earlier post) the part about the experiencing selves & remembering selves. I am a coach now, & it’s sometimes difficult to show teachers that ending well is as important as the beginning & middle. Thanks for the connection to Zits-I even read it this am & didn’t make the leap you did-terrific!
