Here’s the announcement:

NASA, in partnership with Future Engineers, launched the Artemis Moon Pod Essay Contest. The contest, which is open to all (public, private, and home school) students in grades K-12, asks participants to imagine they are leading a one-week expedition to the Moon’s South Pole. In the essay, students will need to describe to NASA what (and who) they would bring to help make their expedition a success.

Here are some of the rules:

  • Grades K-4: Essay, up to 100 words
  • Grades 5-8: Essay, up to 200 words
  • Grades 9-12: Essay, up to 300 words

Interestingly, if you explore the website hosting the contest, it seems to have several others that look pretty cool, including ones on:

They seem to have new ones all the time, and you can see winners of previous contests.
