I recently moderated a panel on student goal-setting for the National Association of English Learner Program Administrators.
In addition to moderating the discussion, I made also made a brief presentation.
As I said then, there are few teachers in the world who have tried as many different versions of student goal-setting sheets and activities as I have. There are even fewer teachers who have failed at student goal-setting activities more than I have. Each time, though, I like to think it fails a little less.
Here are the Google Slides from my presentation. You can download it here as a PowerPoint.
I’m adding it to Best Posts On Students Setting Goals. You can also find downloadable versions of all my different goal-setting sheets there.
Practical conversations to have with your MLs to help them with goal setting. Thank you, @Larryferlazzo for sharing and for moderating the @NAELPAforELs Q3 panel! pic.twitter.com/3ttJkqIqD8
