Chalkbeat’s recent article, Think tank with ties to Trump lays out plan to deny free education to undocumented students, alerted many of us to a new attempt to discard the Plyler decision. That Supreme Court case guarantees the right of undocumented children to attend public school free-of-charge.
It’s a very informative article. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the decision has been under attack. Here are some reactions to this recent news, along with links to my previous posts about the case:
