Mr. Nussbaum was a great social studies site, filled with interactive exercises and accessible information. It was rated number one on The Best Websites For Teaching & Learning About U.S. History.
Unfortunately, about two weeks ago (it might have happened prior to then) the site disappeared. It appears to have have gone off-line.
Too bad…
I “googled” his name and according to a posting in the Google forum his site was hacked yesterday! The premium site is still there for $18/year, but it may be a while before the free site is up. :-\
I would like to know where it went too. It was a wonderful tool in my 5th grade science and math classes! I really wish it would comeback!
Hi,
I am trying to get the word around as fast as possible, MrNussbaum.com is up and running again (thankfully). The site was hacked on January 19th, at which point I was forced to make an emergency domain transfer to a new server. As you may know, the transfer of a new domain can take up to eight days, and this is precisely what happened. Who would have thought these hackers would take advantage of an educational website? No shame whatsoever. Anyway, the stress for me is over for now and I am back online.
On another note… this is a tremendous blog. Larry, I don’t know you personally but thank you for all the support and write-ups concerning my site.
Sincerely,
Greg Nussbaum
