The upcoming question-of-the-week at my Ed Week Teacher column is:
What activities or lessons are you doing with students to end this crazy year?
We all know end-of-year activities are important – what celebratory or reflective lessons do you have in mind?
Let me know by Sunday, May 17th!
Send your ideas – in 200 words or less – along with a one sentence biography to me through one of several ways:
* By leaving a comment on this blog
* By sending an email to me at at lferlazzo@epe.org
* By contacting me on Twitter at @Larryferlazzo
I work for a cyber charter that serves the Hispanic population of North Philadelphia. My high school Technology students were losing interest in the Digital Citizenship curriculum so I set up a nine-square choice board where they get to pick two browser or Chrome based apps to learn and create. Apps like Pixton, SketchUp Free. CodeCombat, Cloud Stop Motion, WeVideo., Soundtrap, Weebly, TinkerCad, and Vectr. They have two weeks to complete and must write a fairly in-depth reflection about their process. Students loving it so far.
