I’ve posted in the past about the reasons why it’s sometimes a good idea to convert Word documents into PDF’s. In that same post I listed several free and easy online applications that allow you to make those conversions.
There’s also a web tool that lets you convert PDF’s into Word documents. It’s called PDF UNdo.
For me, a tool like this will come in handy when I want to copy and paste pieces from a PDF into something I’m writing (with attribution, of course!). I’ve also posted about another tool that deals with this problem called PDF Text Online.
Thanks to the Make Use Of blog for the tip.
Larry,
Had a colleague ask about this process today and knew I had just seen a reference to it somewhere. Went to your site first as it seems to be the source of so much I use lately.
If you had to pick between the two, which would you recommend?
Thanks for doing what you do.

Al,
I’ve tried both successfully. Coincidentally, more and more of these are coming online and I’ll be putting together a “The Best…” list soon, including ones that convert the other way around.
